It's a Great Day to be Alive!

So when I woke up today I was super tired, but oddly I was happy. For some reason I've been like that for the past week and I don't know why. Yesterday should have been a terrible day with the rain, I took a really hard math test, Pachi and Cristina are having huge problems with work, Miguel and Alvaro are sick, and I still had three tests this week, but it wasn't. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I haven't slept in the past three days? Anyway, so I was singing this morning despite the fact that it's wednesday which means I have 7 hours of school instead of 6. When I got to school I was talking to a lot of people and having a pretty good time. Then after recreo I had math which means we were going to go over our tests from yesterday. While we were correcting I thought that I did really bad and our teacher told our class that for the first time in her career she gave out 5 0's. So I was pretty worried, but then she handed back our tests and so my surprise I ended up with 9.5!!! By far the best in the class! Way more than half the class failed and I almost got a perfect score! The only thing I did wrong was get confused on two negatives! The best part is that this was new material for me and my calculator can't do this stuff so the kids have no excuses this time!
Anyway, the rest of the day was great! My philosophy didn't show up so we got an hour to study, my history teacher moved our test to Monday instead of tomorrow, and in economy we watched a movie. Oh and also in seminary we watched two movies, and I love the cheesy seminary movies! I don't know about Utah but here in spain the movies are actually like mini series to I can't wait to find out what happens to the boy in this one!
And now I'm sitting here taking a break from studying and eating the best candy in the world! Actually, I decided to try a new candy today and it was in the shape of a pepper, but it's gummy. I just tried it and my mouth is burning up! But the rest of the candies are great! Well now I really have to study for a language test.

  1. Oh Madison. I miss you! I'm glad you're showing all those Spaniards up in your math class. Maybe you should be a mathematician/politician and change the world one story problem at a time!

  3. Not too surprising about either score. Math genius and language challenged. Do they give you credit for made up words?
